Starting in 1988 I enrolled on a four year apprenticeship with Y.J. Lovells in Buckinghamshire and gained a City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery to Advanced Craft Level.  On completion, the company offered me a permanent position which I excepted.

Having successfully obtained the benefit of a full and complete apprenticeship and becoming a fully qualified carpenter, I decided to register as self-employed.

I sub-contracted to a small local carpentry firm in Berkhamsted where I gained valuable knowledge and experience in all aspects of carpentry and the building trade.

In 1999 my family and I relocated to Southampton where we have happily lived and worked ever since.
